GERMIPLANTS

At the level of the regional community there is a growing interest of the population in what it means to adopt a healthy lifestyle and a healthy diet, both in terms of natural consumption and in terms of healing, through natural treatments and nutritionally balanced diets.

The main objective of the GERMIPLANTS project is the establishment of a greenhouse for the cultivation, production and processing of natural foodssuch as germs, shoots and medicinal and aromatic plants.

Specific objective 1 – set up and development of a green food education program at the regional community level, through the cultivation and production of germs, shoots, medicinal and aromatic plants.

Specific objective 2 – set up, development and modernization of a line of packaging, processing and distribution of GERMIPLANTS brand products at the regional and national level.

Specific objective 3 – set up of a social integration program targeting a group of 7-10 people belonging to vulnerable categories, through activities of harvesting and packaging of medicinal / aromatic plants.

The initiative on the establishment of GERMIPLANTS is based on the direct and strong impact at the level of the regional community, through the active and continuous interest of the GRENA beneficiaries (another FREC Craiova project) in the development of crops of germs, shoots, medicinal and aromatic plants.
